		<description>I have a 3-letter suggestion that can gratify both the yuppie and the broke: REI. This jacket looks suspiciously like one that I kept for 20 years, having bought it at the venerable co-op. Gore-Tex with a wool zip-in, zip-out lining, many deep pockets, an optional drawstring waist, and an attached drawstring hood that you could keep hidden when not in use. That jacket oversaw many a dog walk, and in addition carried me through some really chilly and damp days back when we actually thought we would hike the entire Appalachian Trail in sections. Hah. I have long since grown too fat for it, but it is a unisex style, and I&#039;ll bet something like it is still available.
