This is ridiculous, the problem is not the breed it is the owner, raising a dog takes commitment, time and discipline everyday every hour. Bad dogs are bad because the owner is bad and should not own a dog of any breed. I love my pit, he is friendly, calm and submissive, good with people of all sizes and great with other dogs. supervising is important and I would do that even if I had a small dog by the way, size has nothing to do with temperment. Anyone who believes that pitbulls in general are bad dogs is very ignorant, all dogs have the potential to bite, it is the owners responsibility 100%. By the way pits also known as staffies used to be used as nannies in England. They are loveable loyal animals that are a joy to be with as long as you do it right and responsibly. Buying a dog and raising it is like raising a child and people need to start seeing it this way or things will just get worse. Education is key.
