I always keep my copy of Dog Owner's Home Veterinary Handbook (3rd edition) on my desk at home for Mortimer and Lucy (my 2 dogs). Mortimer is constantly prying the garbage open, retrieving pill bottles from shelves that are seemingly out of reach etc. This book looks a lot less daunting than my book.
