This race (terrier) is smart and super loyal remember the little rascals! (pete) was a pit bull. I have a pitbull with my son being 6 years old he kicks him' pulls his ears tackles him, you name it the dog takes it, my boy walks as much as 30 feet the dog begins to follow him instantly they are great dogs. American people are ignorants at this and buy the pair (female-male) from the same family and do inbreading! (like texans and Arkansas with real people hello!!) if you ever wonder how the mighty romas fell! Caligula, Nero, inbreading!!! you get a pedigree pitbul from a professional breeder and you have the best protector of your child if the parent hits the boy (corrective punishment) the pit will jump to your face as a warning of not touching the kid or next time you will get it!! do you get this comment?

What is it with football players and pitt bull dogs, isn't their life exciting enough. Maybe NFL players should just be banned from owning Pit Bulls unless they take a written test. A couple of years ago a couple escaped in Pittsburgh and killed a small horse, then one NFL player was jailed for dog fighting. You'd think that this would make player think, "Hey if this breed has killed a horse and someone has been jailed for dog fighting with this breed maybe I shouldn't let it romp with my kids". I hope that no one gets seriously injured befre these players realize it dangerous to have these dogs, not macho. It sends the wrong message to the rest of society as well.

What was the point in this family having a dog at all, especially a breed that often requires strong owner management, if they crate it while the family romps in the fenced back yard? Why have we all allowed the pit bull breed to become some kind of status symbol? How in the world can we turn around the reckless over-breeding of these dogs and the assumed macho-status of keeping a pit bill? Once again, owner stupidity trumps here, and as a result a child is hurt.
