We were in Philadelphia two weekends ago with a booth at the first-ever Philly Trunk Show, which was sponsored by the Philadelphia City Paper and held at the brand-new Piazza @ Schmidt's in Northern Liberties. The PSPCA was out in full force with a whole platoon of wonderful, adoptable dogs. Their van was also there, and there were plenty of staff members around to answer questions. It seemed to me that most of the dogs were "bully" types. All the dogs (well, the humans, too) were friendly and sociable. I heard in the late afternoon that two had found forever homes. The Piazza is a great, dog-friendly venue. There were plenty of dogs strolling around with their humans. Spencer had a great time.
