In Memoriam: Sen. Edward M. Kennedy
This is the eulogy Sen. Edward Kennedy, who died yesterday of brain cancer, gave at the public memorial service for his brother Robert Kennedy on June 8, 1968 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City.

Thank you. As I was telling a very right-bent, conservative work associate today, I am certain that I can name an act or law for which Ted Kennedy is responsible that has benefited every/any person in some way (and I went on to point out a specific few to my friend). The senator loved the underdogs….and YES, of course, he also truly loved his dogs which, he often stated, slept on his feet at night.
