Honestly, the incidents just keep getting more and more ominous–and more frequent! This one is even more terrible because it is so calculated.

I’m not a “cat person,” but this is also the second time I’ve heard an animal-rescue person remark that a cat was purring at some terrible juncture. The first was the Baltimore cat who was set afire and burned. I just want to point out that a cat’s purr doesn’t always signal contentment. I believe they also purr when they are upset, agitated, or in pain or distress.

this is very very sick. i can’t believe someone would do something like this. I really hope they find the person that did this!
