I laughed, I cried ( a lot!), I pulled my own dogs closer. This is what the let's-forgive-Vick-already sect does not get: Animals trust, animals bond, animals cross amazingly different species, just for the simple pleasures to share and love and care for one another. Animals teach us important stuff every day, if we only take the time to look deeply and try to understand. Language is unnecessary; it's all about eye contact, and knowing when the other needs a hug, and relinquishing our emotions to another warm being. Thanks for keeping these stories in the news!
