Bright expressed so well my feelings..my sympathy for Baxter’s loving family, who provided him such a wonderful and meaningful life; my admiration for that beautiful spirit..what an inspirational story! Yes, he certainly must be waiting at that bridge…with so many friends…Thank you for sharing with us such an intense personal and loving story.

Not long ago I saw the video clip of Baxter at the hospice with his “Mom”. I cried because of the love and tenderness he had been bringing to terminally ill patients. I saved this web address and decided to open it again this evening… I am crying again over the passing of this remarkable dog. I know he is now healthy again in heaven, and I know he has touched many lives, but I also know his passing brings incredible grief for those closest to him. please give me info on how i can make my dog an official therapy dog. that is what i am working on. i have had him in training for obedience, but how do i make it official

My grandson is no longer sure if dogs go to heaven as he was told that dogs have no soul so they can not go to heaven. I told him they do go to heaven. Just look into Baxter’s eyes and you know he has a loving soul.
