I think dogs or any animals choose us for reasons we are not aware of at this moment from past or present life they are like a messengers and someday we will complete the puzzles but it’s all about knowing our spiritual purpose. I accidentally have 2 dogs and I am in no shape of having them at all financially or in other term I do not own a home but with many prayers and living with life meracles I think Gator boenita and me will be even happier going forward. Aloha to Major Dinnis enjoy your life journey with nub as it will be knowing about your place in life why he have choosin you.

I was in Iraq as a civilian for two years. Being a witness to the abuse that these dogs live with everyday is heartbreaking. They don’t have homes as Iraqis, for the most part, hate dogs. They drink hot, dirty water and scrounge around for food in the dump. They reach out for love and companionship, and get kicked and shunned for their efforts.
I wish the best for Brian and Nubs. I wish them everything good. Brian, you’re an aboveboard Marine, and a wonderful human being.

Talk about second chances…great story just in time for the holidays. Good results for dogs from war torn areas are rare–thanks!
