“Twilight” star urges adoption
Canadian-born actress Rachelle Lefevre, one of the stars of the movie “Twilight,” has taped a public service announcement for Best Friends Animal Society, urging viewers to adopt rather than purchase from a pet store or breeder.
Lefevre, who plays Victoria in both “Twilight” and its sequel, “New Moon,” is the new spokeswoman for Best Friends’ Puppies Aren’t Products campaign.

Hi lr,
Do you mean Dogtown? As far as I know that’s still on. Currently we’re seeing repeats, such as this coming Friday’s epsiode, “A Fighting Chance.” But the Best Friends’ website says the new season begins in January with a follow up episode on the Michael Vick dogs’ progress.

I think that’s wonderful. But, what happened to the TV show about Best Friends. It was one of my favorite shows and I miss it.
