wonderful post and have you applied for employment with SNL??? Love the subtle and not so subtle humor!

On the topic though it is a classic illustration of most American society being utterly gullible and refusing to look at what is really going on: the media says the Second Great Depression is all about lack of "consumer confidence" (we really do have money we just don't want to spend it so it is all our fault) when what is really going on is people are broke and jobless; fat people shouting poor aren't really poor if they are so fat when what is really going on is poor food choices born of destitute desperation; the drug companies really do care about you when what is really going on is that Big Pharma feels pretty darn good now that they managed to convince Washington that they too need bailing out via the proposed health plans which leads me to the worst of the wool-pulling-over-eager-to-believe-eyes, false titling of legislation designed to garner yes votes from people who would really vote NO if they just worked at bit at understanding what they are voting/voted for.

been saving up that rant all week, thanks for giving me a perfect platform to launch it from.
