I am definitely not one to jump on the latest marketing scheme, but so many folks -- including ohmidog! -- ranted about the FURminator for so long that I finally succumbed last end-of-winter. It is revolutionarily different than any dog grooming tool I have ever tried. I was waiting for some much-cheaper knock-off to hit the PetSmart shelves, but it never happened. But shoot! Now I'm gonna lust for the newest iteration! Four big dogs, lots of fur always, but decidedly less fur-balls drifting around my floors....plus the dogs seem quite spruced and happy! Smooth strokes, no tangles or pulls, great results. Cool news!
