Stop, please leave your dogs ears alone. My love is fighting for his life because of neuticles Ear implant. Ears are not up and there is the worst infection you ever put your eyes on. The whole ear is full of pus and bleeding it looks as if he had been in a fire. Mede are strong and hard on my dog. He won’t eat and just sleeps. Not my playful dog anymore. please pray for him and please don’t put your dog through this.

I sent my Pepe, a perfectly healthy and beautiful 12 month old pomeranian pup, to dog school in Bogota Colombia where we were vacationing and they brought him back to me with SURGERY in his eye……. They said he was running and hit a tree (?????). Is there an eye clinic or vet in Miami who could perform an eye implant surgery? I will appreciate any info. Please, please help.
I’m not a member. Could you please e-mail me. I couldn’t find where to suscribe.

Gary, yeah, anyone who cares about their pet obviously is a Peta freak.
Helen, I’m sure my dog lives a much better life than yours and is much more spoiled. On top of the excellent level of affection and care he is given, he’s not judged on how he looks. God forbid your dog have something happens to affect how poor little Frank looks, I’m sure if it does it’ll be off to the pound with him where he’ll get adopted by someone who actually likes dogs.
Now why don’t you get back into bed like the trophy wife you are.

Cary, I they are illegal in the show ring. Those dogs have to have their original equipment, correctly descended and in place. I don’t know what conformation judges are doing about these. I assume their texture isn’t quite that of the original so that the judge can tell. As for appearances, I’m with you; I’ve never known a dog who gave two hoots or a holler about his looks. The idea that as they developed these ear things, there was a hapless dog “oozing blood and pus” with a terrible infection–now that sets me on edge and makes me mad. It must’ve hurt like anything. I’ve been dead set against ear cropping since the age of seven, when my parents had it done to our Boxer puppy, Buster. He was miserably uncomfortable, and I knew it, and I’ve hated the idea ever since.

i would imagine your the type of pet owner who throws the dog in the backyard and forgets about him. Ill tell you my dog lives better than you or most people.

The cutest German Shepherd I ever saw had floppy ears. Everyone (in the AKC/breeding world) thought he was “inferior”. He had way more personality then they did

and i thought that the neuticles were silly. these implants would be illegal in the show ring, so i guess that the main consumer would be people like the above helen. my dog has one ear up & one ear down. he doesn’t care and neither do i and i’m certainly not going to subject my dog to surgery for cosmetic reasons.
