Although it does appear to be a beagle, the mascot for the New Orleans Saints is a Saint Bernard. His name is Gumbo. At one time it was an actual Saint Bernard that attended games then later we had a border collie type dog that would run on to the field and retrieve the tee after kick-offs. After the hurrican his contract wasn't renewed.
