Couple offers $50,000 reward for lost dog
How big of a reward would you post for the safe return of your lost dog?
A couple in Warren, Texas, is offering $50,000 — and putting their house up for sale to come up with the money.
Their dog Sir, a chocolate Lab, has lived with the couple for five years.
Charlie Parker said he and his wife have no children, and that Sir was like a child.
The dog disappeared from their property on September 15.
The couple posted fliers at local businesses, but they have yet to hear anything, according to KFDM. (Click the link to see the video report.)
When he disappeared, Sir was wearing a camouflage collar, the Parkers say.

Tags? Microchip? Any distinguishing marks? I wish them luck and hope they search every ‘shelter’ within 100 miles of their home.

Dear Mr Parker it breaks our heart that your going thru this pain. We will check every chocolate lab we see in the San Fran, Ca area where ever we travel for Sir! Please keep us updated. If we can help any other way just ask. Sincerely yours Gene

This is so sad. I can’t imagine losing either of my two babies (Mini- Dachshunds). Has a fund been set up to find Sir? If so, can someone reply with a link and/or info? I’ll donate!

charlie, so sorry and our hearts break for you both and for Sir…..no one could ever love us as unconditionally as our dogs do and in return they seal our love for them forever….God says not to give our minds over to ‘wild imaginings’, so we will say a prayer every night that above all Sir is healthy and happy – and that he will come home to you.
