Texas teen “werewolf” under investigation

werewolfA San Antonio teenager who believes she’s a werewolf has admitted to beheading a dog in her kitchen, but says the dog was already dead.

Sarah Rodriguez, 18, who prefers to be called “Wolfie Blackheart,” was contacted by authorities after a photo of the dog’s severed head appeared on the Internet.

“I didn’t kill any animal,” Rodriguez told the San Antonio Express-News. “I wouldn’t, like I said. I’d be more likely to hurt a human than a dog any day. And even then not really possible. I’m pretty friendly.”

Investigators are waiting to find out exactly how the dog, whose family said it went missing two weeks ago, died.

Rodriguez, who wears a tail, said the dog was found dead, and that she used a pocketknife in her kitchen to decapitate it.  “I severed the head, boiled the head.”

Before boiling the head, someone held it up and snapped a photograph of it that ended up on the Internet.

Within days, the photo had spurred an animal cruelty investigation by Animal Care Services and the San Antonio Police Department.

Rodriguez says she’s guilty of nothing more than a love for taxidermy: “I would never kill a canine,” she said. “I am a canine.”

Lisa Rodriguez, Wolfie’s mom, said she supports the career goal of her daughter, who has two dogs of her own, both huskies. She said her daughter has Tourette’s syndrome, which causes her to “yip” — a result of head trauma suffered in a car crash about a decade ago.

Police served a search warrant at the Rodriguez home and confiscated the head of the dog.

The black-flecked chow mix, Rigsby, went missing from a family’s backyard on Jan. 5. Two weeks later, on Jan. 20, a neighbor showed the dog’s owner a website with the photo of a dog’s head. “My heart pretty much sank,” the mother of four daughters said, “because when I saw that picture, I said, ‘That’s Rigsby.’”

I support Wolfie; she did nothing wrong.
It’s not against the law to take a dead dog and use it for taxidermy.
While it seems Wolfie committed animal cruelty, the truth is, she didn’t.
We are the cruel ones for exploiting this poor girl’s private life and making a joke out of her beliefs.
As for the picture getting on the internet; she didn’t take it. Someone else had taken the photo of the dog’s head and posted it online.
This isn’t the full article either.
Read up.
Once again;

I also support those who think it’s appropriate to take random dead animals, especially neighbors pets, and chop their heads off in their kitchens. This is america man, we should be allowed to completely traumatize innocent people (and their children!) for no good reason.

okay, whoever this goon person is really stupid, i mean, did she NOT say she did it for taxidermy? You dont have any proof she killed the dog. And the dog could’ve been killed in a car accident, then a teenager could have seen the dog and brought it to wolfie. The girl wants to be a taxidermist, not a murderer. Really goons, death sentence?

Do reporters really have nothing better to write about?
I support wolfie. They don’t bring in animal cruelty and the cops when people run over the dogs… Literally I see like ten dead dogs on the highway. Oh and I think everyone has different points of view on this matter so this is mine. Peace out

hey, I Feel Sorry for the family that lost the dog, But if it was already dead what does it matter what another person does? It’s not animal Cruelty if it can’t feel it. You guys have no Right to judge her.

“Act right?” I’d really like to know what that is. How are they suppose to act? What method of living do they need to use to please you?

Wolfie has not stepped out here, she did nothing wrong. I support Wolfie. Just like me, she would hurt a human before she could hurt an animal and even then very unlikely. Us wolves are very friendly people. Stop Hating on us for being different.

You support wolfie? are you f—ing dumb? It doesn’t matter if she killed dog or not, look at what she did to his dead body, it’s horrible. How would you feel is somebody did it to your family member (human or not). Of course family would had buried their pet, but this little bitch ruined burial, how could kids look at their dog like that while burying him? And its the dog “wolfie” knew. She is not wolf or werewolf, wolfs kill only for survival and wolfs don’t mess up dead bodies. F—ing retards.
